Florida Sublease Agreement Template

A Florida sublease agreement is a legal document used by a tenant renting a property to lease the property to another party. This practice is known as subleasing or subletting, and the other party is known as the subtenant. Because the subtenant is not a party to the original lease agreement, the landlord will usually have to give permission for a sublease to take place. Additionally, the original tenant remains liable for the subtenant’s violations of the lease agreement, including the failure to pay rent.

Landlord’s Consent FormLease agreements will likely state whether the landlord’s permission is required to sublease.
